Sixth Form Prospectus
We currently offer as our Level 3 qualifications 20 different A levels, alongside BTECs in Music and Sport. This suite of qualifications is complemented by our Enrichment options, including the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) which is equivalent to 40% of an A level.
These qualifications are rigorous, with the high levels of challenge that will prepare students for Higher Education, high level apprenticeships or meaningful employment. We offer 10 hours of lessons with our specialist teachers per fortnight, for each subject: this is 11% more than the 9 hours offered by the majority of Sixth Forms and colleges. Alongside a comprehensive programme of additional activities, guest speakers and careers trips, this ensures that our study programmes exceed the recommended amount.
Where students are yet to attain a GCSE grade 4 in English or Maths, they will also receive the full amount of tuition recommended for retakes of those subjects.
