About The ProgrammeBoston Grammar School, a UK state (day) school, respected for its established academic tradition, welcomes appropriately qualified students from all over the world to join its vibrant community. Children of all ages join the school although the majority join to study ‘A’ Levels in our Sixth Form at sixteen. Currently we have particular opportunities for Hong Kong and Macau students holding appropriate EU passports, through our partnership with Mission Links who can provide help with translation, entry tests, admissions procedures, homestay arrangement and guardianship.
Becoming an International pupil at Boston Grammar School gives the opportunity to have a true English experience through living with a host family in areas local to the School. This allows pupils to improve their English skills and learn more about English culture.
AccommodationResponsibility for this side of student life is taken by Mission Links for students from Hong Kong & Macau. They take the social and emotional care of our International students as seriously as we do their academic care.
They seek to ensure that you are matched with a British family who will offer you the friendship and support you will need to live and study in the UK, as well as guiding and encouraging you in your studies! We undertake due diligence with regard to local safeguarding policies and guidelines to ensure proper procedures are followed.
From experience we know that it is only when you feel safe and happy at home, with people who are there to advise and support you that you can focus fully on your studies and achieve the highest grades possible.
Home StaysMission Links have a network of host families and only use top quality families who are known personally to them.
