All staff and sixth form students have access to our free guest Wi-Fi network, allowing them to bring their own devices in to school and connect them to the Internet.
Before using the service, you must read and complete the 'Guest Wi-Fi Acceptable Use Policy'. By using the guest Wi-Fi network, you are agreeing to adhere to the terms of this policy. Once you have read and completed the Acceptable Use Policy, bring it to the IT Office and you may connect your device.
NOTE: We allow devices on the guest Wi-Fi by MAC address. Every device has a unique 12-character MAC address (e.g. 00:00:00:00:00:0X). We need to know this address to allow your device on the guest Wi-Fi. Below are guides on how to find your MAC address. Please put this address on your completed Guest Wi-Fi Policy. If you are unable to find your MAC address bring your device to the IT office and a member of IT staff will find it for you.
We provide an HTTP (port 80) and HTTPS (port 443) Internet connection only. If you use any software or apps that use other ports (such as e-mail clients / apps) you may find these do not work. All Internet activity is filtered and monitored to a standard appropriate in an education context.
